sARa, 08g williams
Sara is a leader and sets the standards for her teammates. She leads the warm up, encourages and pushes her teammates in games and drives for quality in practice. Sara steps up to play roles which may not be her favorite, including goalkeeper, but does them for the good of the team. She then excels in these positions. Sara has become a captain and an invaluable member of the team, with her voice, infectious personality and competitiveness attributing to the team’s success.
sebastian, 08b shabout
Sebastian understands the game very well and is a very good player. He has played in different positions and understands the responsibility of these positions and where to move on the field. His technique, first touch and ball control are very good. He is not scared to slide tackle and use his body to protect the ball. He tries to help his teammates during games and practices. Sebastian has a great character and lots of ambition, and he is always pushing himself to get better and improve.
danyelle, 11g morales
Dany has raised the whole team’s level of physicality and enthusiasm in just 6 months since joining. She never gives up on the field, and her drive to keep the other team from scoring is second to none. She is passionate about improving herself and she pushes her teammates in practice. She does not shy away from a challenge, and she rises to the occasion when asked to defend the most threatening players. She is very coachable and because of that she is making great decisions playing the ball out from the back to improve our attack. Dany is an outstanding asset for the 2011 girls.
roland, 11b stricker
Roland always works hard and plays with great intensity. He is a leader on the field and loves to compete. He has played multiple positions this spring and has excelled and been a game changer at each one. I am so proud of his flexibility and ability to dominate in the positions he has been asked to play. Roland is encouraging and always has a smile on his face. He has done his assigned conditioning on non-practice days, and it shows when he still has energy at the end of the game. He displays great commitment both attending and giving his all at every practice and every game.
