HAILEY, 09G SANSOM

Hailey’s aggressive, win-the-ball-at-all-costs approach to 1v1 defending sets the bar high for her team. She is the enforcer for 09G. Her ability to read the game, win the ball and drive it into the midfield adds another dimension to the team play. Hailey rarely misses practices or games. She always arrives early and encourages her teammates to join her as she does more touches or completes her own fitness workouts that she leads. She also leads team warm-ups, and guides the team quickly back from water breaks ensuring that we waste no time. She is a difference maker on the team!

David finished the fall as the top scorer for the 06B, but he has shown great self determination and hard work in his efforts to continue improving his game during and outside of practice nonetheless. He joined the team this fall and instantly provided great quality, finishing the most recent tournament with 7 goals in 3 games, with an additional 6 goals in recent scrimmages. HENRY, 11B STRICKER

Henry has been playing the position of outside defender and has recently been learning how to play outside midfield and center back. He has been working extremely hard in practice and has really improved in the off season, including increasing his fitness level. He works just as hard whether he is on the winning team in practice or the losing team and is always giving 100%. Henry doesn’t say much but is a good friend to all of the boys on the team. He really does a great job of helping the coach out when he needs it, even without the coach asking. He is a great young man and player.
