PLAYER SPOTLIGHT - for the week of april 29-May 4
Coppell FC’s Player Spotlight highlights players each week from the club’s academy (U7-U10) and select (U11 and older) teams. These are players that are recognized and nominated by their coaches for their outstanding performance, attitude, and/or character.
Allison, 11g evans
Allison is another one of our players who has a passion for improving their game in every area. Whether it has been ball mastery or footskills, sessions at home, or completing daily runs, Allison has been working very, very hard and has consistently improved her 1 mile and 2 mile times over this period of no in-person practices. She is an extremely dedicated player and her work ethic is second to none. Great job Allison!
imanol, 11b shirazi
Imanol is the first player to join every session and is on time, every time. His demonstration of determination and strong will to work hard and be successful is something to be proud of. He is also presenting a positive attitude and cheering for his friends when at times we hit some tough stretches in our virtual sessions. He leads by example and tries to push himself to do even the hardest and most challenging drills instead of giving up. Imanol shows great character.
ava, 07g evans
Ava has continued her outstanding work ethic on the field and practicing despite the Covid-19 break. Ava has also volunteered to help record videos for her younger age club-mates to help them with their skills, as well as motivational messages encouraging her teammates. She has lead by example by completing her team running club targets and working on her ball skills very regularly. She has even been showing her leadership skills at home with helping her brother with his schoolwork.
tarun, 06b williams
Tarun completed 9 miles last week as part of his cardio homework. Tarun is always doing his best for his team and will give whatever is needed. He will play in whatever position and has worked on his game, to become a well rounded player. Tarun is committed and has been part of the team since it began 7 years ago! He continues to work hard to improve his skills, constantly, and is always working to be a better player.
emma, 12g davies
Emma has worked extremely hard on her game over the last 9 months. She has improved her technical skills and developed her game understanding significantly. Emma gives 100% in every practice and displays excellent commitment to the game. She has earned the confidence and admiration of the team. Her positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond with her personal development over the last month has been very impressive. Her coach is looking forward to seeing the fruits of her hard work when the time comes to return to the field.
