PLAYER SPOTLIGHT - for the week of april 1-april 7

Junehee has been on top of all the homework sessions that have been sent to the team. She is always one of the first ones to submit her homework. She goes above and beyond with her individual practice, working on all the skills in depth. Junehee is always smiling and positive. She is a joy to be around and loves the game of soccer so much. She gives great effort and pushes the team to be better.

Jacob did all of his skill work and fitness for the week. He has been working really hard on his first touch,juggling, and passing. Jacob really has a great attitude and an amazing drive to improve himself. He has been a great teammate and always shows up to practice ready to work hard. He takes on board what coach asks him to adjust and makes the changes needed to improve his game.

Cici has been dedicated to continue her soccer development throughout this process, not only completing the assigned work, but doing longer workouts and completing extra miles. Cici is always positive and happy, doing her best. She will not only put everything on the line to ensure results are positive for the team, but also do everything she can to put a smile on teammates' faces. She will do and play anywhere needed. She is doing everything she can to make sure she is ready for when we start playing again.

Aryan strives to become a better soccer player every day. He is dedicated to developing his game and displays fantastic enthusiasm in the process. Aryan has a true passion for soccer and is always curious to learn new ways to enhance his personal performance. Last week alone he completed 53 badges in the Topya! app. He is willing to go the extra mile. Aryan has shown a keen interest in our tactical sessions in recent weeks, contributing well to group discussion and analyzing ways we can improve as a team. He is a great asset to this 07B team.

srikar, 05b williams black

Srikar was a high level performer in the recent tournament in Austin and was a stand out in leadership and character. Srikar continues to give strong performances in his homework assignments. He recorded a sub 6 minute mile which was at the top of the team. His coach is most proud of his efforts to push the group when necessary to be better and stronger, and he can only hope more players follow his lead. His development in the last year has been outstanding.
