ava’s light scholarship

Coppell Youth Soccer Association and Coppell FC are jointly raising money to continue growing an annual college scholarship fund to be awarded each May. This scholarship fund was set up in loving memory of Ava Ballew, daughter to Kris and Lauren Ballew, who have been a huge part of the CYSA and Coppell FC families for several years and volunteering so much of their time for the organization.

CYSA/Coppell FC has already awarded a total of five (5) scholarships from May of 2024 to present for a total of $8,500 as a result of your generous donations! This coming May we hope to award two additional qualified applicants that played for CYSA and/or Coppell FC. A scholarship committee will review applications and select the two recipients, which will be announced in May 2026 at our Annual General Meeting.
